Stefan Binder is a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the Department of Social Anthropology and Cultural Studies (ISEK), University of Zurich. He studies gender/sexuality, religion, and secularity as entangled fields of power and difference. Drawing on urban anthropology and aesthetic theory, his current work examines erotic economies and the spatial dimensions of trans-misogyny in urban India. He has published on atheism and religious minorities in South Asia, where he focuses on the aesthetic, ethical, and temporal dimensions of lived (non-)religion.
Anne Kukuczka is a junior researcher and lecturer at the Department of Social Anthropology and Cultural Studies (ISEK), University of Zurich. Anne's PhD thesis explores how differently positioned young women dream of and strive to forge mobile futures by training to become flight attendants in Kathmandu, Nepal. Her work engages the anthropology of the body and gender, labour and im/mobility, and feminist anthropology, with a regional focus on Nepal and Tibet. Grounded in embodied ethnographic methodologies, her research builds on over fifteen years of engagement with urban Himalayan social worlds.
Henrike Kraul works as a doctoral researcher and lecturer at the Institute of Social and Cultural Anthropology at Freie Universität Berlin. Her research is situated in the fields of feminist and queer anthropology, the anthropology of dress and fashion, and the anthropology of Northern Europe. For her doctoral research, she has conducted ethnographic fieldwork in Copenhagen, Denmark, focusing on Danish discourses on queer visibility, the politics of identity, and the role clothing plays in people’s ways of self-fashioning.

Fedro Fioravanti is a Bachelor student in Social Anthropology and Comparative Linguistics at the University of Zurich. His research interests include environmental anthropology, pastoralism and linguistic anthropology. In addition to his studies at the University of Zurich, he works as a student assistant at the Department of Social Anthropology and Cultural Studies.

Banhishikha Ghosh is a Lecturer in Health and Social Care (Faculty of Education and Society) at the University of Sunderland. Her research deals with sexual lives in the Global South and care regulatory frameworks in the United Kingdom. Her monograph Sexually Liminal Lives (2026), based on her doctoral work at the University of Zurich, has been published by Cambridge University Press. She is currently a PI in the UKRI-funded project: Reimagining Care: Embedding Equity and Support in Healthcare Training in the Digital Age.
